NEW DEGREE ADDED ("Premier Distinction")
The NFL Executive Council voted to add an additional degree for 1500 points
earned and increase the cap to no more than 750 points in any one category (debate,speech,
group speaking), and the total cap to 1500 points(excluding Districts and
Nationals). The new degree is called “Degree of Premier Distinction”.
Schools can immediately begin adding points up to 750 per category. Schools who
have graduated and current students that have already obtained 1500 points will
receive a new degree seal for that student as soon as they are available.
