2010 District Legislation.

There are NINE pieces of legislation for the District Tournament to be held Feb. 20 at Riverside HS. 

The legislation is listed below in no particular order. 

The docket order will be set at the District tournament.

A Bill to Urge the United States Congress to Lower the Drinking Age to Age 18  (this legislation is unaffiliated)

A Bill to Establish a National Graduation Standard  (Southside)

A Bill to Prohibit Handguns in the United States   (Mauldin)

A Resolution to Legalize Marijuana for Medical and Recreational Use in Order to Decrease Crime and Increase Revenue in the United States  (Wacamaw)

Resolution allowing Teachers with Concealed Weapons Permits to carry concealed firearms on school campuses (Bob Jones)

A Bill to Monitor Consumer Credit (Southside)

A Resolution to Save the American Gray Wolves by Reinstating them onto the Endangered Species List (Wacamaw)

A Bill to To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide additional tax reductions to stimulate economic growth  (Bob Jones)

A Bill to Make Teacher Pay Merit Based (Mauldin)
